"Christmas Ornament Crafts"
Making Christmas ornament crafts is fun because you get to hang them for everyone to admire. This craft is easy and you can utilize things you have around the house. It isn't messy or complicated--even our preschoolers can get involved. It is also an awesome way to use those leftover Christmas cards from last year! You can personalize it with a photo and wrap in festive tissue paper for a home-made, heartfelt gift!!
Supplies You Need:
Holiday cookie cutters (Christmas trees, wreaths, stars, snowflakes, mittens, candy canes are great choices)
Greeting cards or photos
Pencil, scissors, glue
Hole punch
Ribbon (red, green, white, or silver)
Directions:
1. Use the cookie cutters as templates and trace over last year's holiday cards or photos
2. Cut out the shape and punch a hole at the top
3. Thread a thin ribbon through the hole and make a loop to hang
4. Create a backing in a solid color by tracing the same shape and gluing the two pieces together (this way both sides look great as it hangs from your Christmas tree or door)
