You can make your own silly putty that is just like what you buy in the store. It bounces, stretches and you can transfer your favorite comic strip onto it. Supplies You Need:  1 cup white Elmer's glue 1 cup liquid starch food coloring (your choice of color) small bowl and a wooden spoon airtight container to keep freshDirections: 1. Mix the glue and a few drops of food coloring in small bowl 2. Stir in the liquid starch, a little at a time, until the mixture starts to gel 3. Stir constantly until the mixture gets thick and sticky enough to shape into a ball 4. Store in airtight container

Supplies You Need: 2 t. dishwashing liquid 3 T. water 1/4 cup powdered tempura paint (found at any arts and crafts store) mixing spoon clean jar with lid bubble pipeDirections: 1. Mix dishwashing liquid, water, and tempura paint in the jar with a spoon 2. Blend it well by tightening the lid on the jar and shaking it 3. Continue to add more paint until you have the desired color 4. Pour a little bit of the mixture into the bubble pipe 5. blow bubbles (Do not inhale the bubbles, it could make you sick) Tip: For fancy artwork, you can blow bubbles onto a piece of white paper. Let the bubbles dry into circle patterns. Overlap with another color of bubble paint for a layered effect.
