"Christmas Crafts"Glitter GlobesShake up your holiday season with these magical "glitter globes". Christmas crafts that are fun and easy to make. Special because you can create your own by picking out the treasure that goes inside. Supplies You Need:  Clean jars w/lids Plastic figurines (your choice: snowman, tree, polar bear, santa, etc.) Hot-glue gun Water Glitter Scissors Piece of felt (your choice of color) Baby oilDirections: 1. Using the hot-glue gun, glue your figurine to the inside of the lid 2. Fill the jar with water (leaving room for the water level to rise when the figurine is added) 3. Add about a tablespoon of glitter and a tablespoon of baby oil 4. Using the hot-glue gun, line the inside of the lid with glue and screw on the lid to the jar 5. Apply a layer of glue around the rim of the lid to seal it in place 6. Allow to dry 7. Cut a circle of felt to fit the top of the jar and glue it in place 8. Shake and watch it sparkle! Frosty TossHave some family fun in the snow. Have a snowball-throwing contest. Make a target by creating a bright circle in the snow with colored water in a squirt bottle. See who can hit the target--or get the closest!!
