Crafts for Kids"Pom-Pom Pals"Turn a homemade fuzz ball into a warm and furry creature with crafts for kids. Your child can make a "pom-pom pal" to cuddle with or to share with a friend. It's easy and cute! Supplies:  1 skein of thick yarn (any color) Thin book (about 5" tall) Scissors Assortment of craft supplies-chenille stems, beads, miniature pom-poms, googly eyes, craft foam, felt, buttons, and feathers (you may have these supplies around the house or you can get it all at any arts and crafts store) Craft glueDirections: 1. Wrap the yarn around the book 80 to 100 times or until the yarn is about 1-1/2 inches thick on each side 2. Slip the yarn carefully off the book 3. Cut a 6-inch strand of yarn from the skein; knot it tightly around the center of the yarn bundle 4. Snip each loop until a pom-pom forms (trim as needed) 5. Decorate the pom-pom with the craft supplies. Use the chenille stems for the arms and legs, feathers for the ears, and a bead for the nose; or just let child get as creative as they wish
