Easy Easter Crafts

"Eye-Catching Easter Eggs"

Easter decorations can brighten up any home in the spring. You will find easy Easter crafts that the whole family can make together. Fun ideas that can be handed down to our children. Memories can be made making these fun decorations together.

Tip: To keep "eggs" safe for years to come, pack up in an egg carton and mark on top the year, hollow Easter eggs, and of course Fragile.

Supplies you Need for this Easter Craft:

dozen eggs
egg blowing tool (available at any craft store) or a toothpick or small nail will do
can of gold spray paint
wooden skewers
stickers or masking tape
another can of spray paint-color of your choice (metallic paint is the best)

Directions:

1. Blow out insides of raw eggs using any egg-blowing tool and following the instructions on the package or pierce a small hole on each end of egg with a tiny nail or toothpick. Pierce the yolk. Blow out the insides into a bowl. Discard or use the inside (for scrambled eggs-mmm)
2. Wash and dry the egg, making sure the inside is empty.
3. Gently insert a long wooden skewer into one end of the egg to hold while painting.
4. Spray the egg with 2 or 3 coats of gold spray paint, allowing the paint to dry between coats.
5. Apply stickers or squares of masking tape to the egg as desired to create the gold designs and gently push down the edges.
6. Lightly spray the egg with a desired color of spray paint. Let dry.
7. Remove stickers and carefully remove the skewer.
8. Decorate in a favorate bowl lined with gold shredded paper.
