Ideas for Fathers Day
Here is our list of eight gift areas to consider when shopping for a Father's Day gift (we didn't want to do a list of 5 or 10 because that is what everyone else does - eight is a perfectly good number):
1. Working Antique Phones: These are both fun and functional. You can get antique phones from as far back as the 1920's. These are not reproductions but older ones may have been restored with near original components. There are many different types from old wooden wall phones to Art Deco phones to metal payphones. The prices vary as much as the phones do. Estimate $170.00 - $350.00.
2. Ship Replicas: There are some incredibly detailed and authentic replicas of sailing ships such as The King's Spanish Galleon, the USS Constitution and even the Titanic. These look particularly nice in an office. Estimate $100.00 - $350.00

Homemade Gifts for Dad
Even when money is short, holidays and special occasions still come around. A solution to your money problems can be making homemade gifts for your friends and family. Sometimes it is easier to make gifts for the women in your life, but it is possible to make gifts for men, even your dad.
Homemade gifts are appreciated by most people. It takes thought, time, and creativity to make a gift. While you may not spend much money on such gifts, they can be a lot of fun to receive. Consider making homemade gifts for dad.
