"Fishing Bobber Lamp"
Let's make dad something special to remind him of what a wonderful fisherman he is. Fathers day crafts for kids will give you ideas for a "special" gift. Customize a lamp shade for the fisherman in the house. Simple and fun!! Children will "light up" when they give this clever gift to dad.
Supplies You Need:
Lamp and lamp shade (Wal-mart or Target have very reasonable lamps and shades)
Fishing bobbers, sinkers, lures (found at a sporting goods store)
Hot glue gun (works the best, but need adult supervision)
Fishing line
Scissors
Directions:
1. Attach 2" of fishing line to each piece of fishing tackle that you are going to put on the lamp shade 2. Glue the fishing tackle around the base of the lamp shade (spacing about every 3 to 4 inches apart)
3. Put in his favorite room on Father's Day and watch him "light-up" when he sees it!

Homemade Gifts for Dad
Even when money is short, holidays and special occasions still come around. A solution to your money problems can be making homemade gifts for your friends and family. Sometimes it is easier to make gifts for the women in your life, but it is possible to make gifts for men, even your dad.
Homemade gifts are appreciated by most people. It takes thought, time, and creativity to make a gift. While you may not spend much money on such gifts, they can be a lot of fun to receive. Consider making homemade gifts for dad.
Crafts for Dad
Kids love making crafts, and Dad's love getting gifts! What better combination can there be when the holidays, dad's birthday and Father's day comes around. Crafts occupy kids in a hands-on manner and involves them with creative thinking. Crafting is so much more productive then sitting in front of the television or computer.
Ideas for Father's Day
Here is our list of eight gift areas to consider when shopping for a Father's Day gift (we didn't want to do a list of 5 or 10 because that is what everyone else does - eight is a perfectly good number).
