Finger Paint Projects
Let's get these little hands busy being creative with finger paint. Get their little minds working. Start by asking them, "What do you want to make out of your hands?" Let's get their minds thinking and let them come up with their own ideas. Trust me, they will not stop bragging about what they make, neither will you!!
Supplies You Need:
 Construction Paper (any color)
Paints-- Go to...
Homemade Finger Paint Recipe
Glitter (optional)
2-3 year old thinking cap
Sweat Shirt or Tee Shirt (sized to fit recipient of this gift)
Cloth Placemat or Two
Washable clothing or a bib
Of course, those little hands (or feet)
Directions:
1. Before you begin, lay out a plasic tarp or an old sheet
2. Lay out project (construction paper, shirt or place mat)
3. Dip the little hands into the desired color to be used and then let the little ones imagination go wild
4. Have them sprinkle glitter on the picture (when dry you can lift up to remove excess glitter)
5. Always put the childs name and date, as this is a great keepsake
Tip: You can purchase a roll of laminated contact paper (in the kitchen isle of your favorite department store) to cover the hand made gift to keep it from ripping or tearing. Also a good idea to cover the placemats to keep them in good, clean condition, as washing will remove the paint.
Tip: A fun idea, while those hands are still painted, put a handprint on the wall next to the height measurement. Lots of fun to look at as the child grows.
