Free Crafts for Kids

"Noodle Planes"



Look here for easy unique crafts that any young one can make. Free crafts for kids are fun and exciting, starting with this "Noodle Plane." Fun for all ages. All you need to get started on this FUN project is noodles. "Oodles" of noodles. Then the child's creative side comes out when they get to paint it however they like.

Supplies You Need:

2-Lasagna Noodles (all noodles uncooked)
1-Manicotti Noodle
3-Rigatoni Noodles
3-Fettuccini Noodles (broken into 4" pieces)
1-Wagon Wheel Noodle
1 set water colors
Craft glue

Directions:

1. Lay 1-lasagna noodle flat and glue the manicotti noodle in the middle (open ends opposite the length of lasagna
2. Glue 1-rigatoni noodle on each end of the lasagna noodle, upright
3. Lay the other lasagna noodle on the top and glue it to the rigatoni noodles
4. For the propeller, put the wagon wheel noodle over the open end of the front of the manicotti noodle
5. Break up the fettuccini noodles (in about 4" pieces) and put 4 noodles across the wagon wheel noodle (like a propeller)
6. Glue remaining rigatoni noodle to the upper lasagna noodle on the back of the plane then top with fettuccini noodles
7. Paint with water colors

"Puzzling Notes"

Supplies You Need:

Card stock or construction paper (your choice of colors)
Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
Scissors
Envelope

Directions:

1. On the card stock or contruction paper, write a note to someone special

2. Decorate the note with crayons, markers, or colored pencils

3. Cut the note into puzzle pieces

4. Put the pieces in an envelope and deliver it!!
