Creative Decorating

Scares lurk among the sweets at this terrifying treats table-demented decor that is simple enough for kids to take a stab at.

Set the scene by ripping cheesecloth for a mummified look as a drape for the "treats" table. Arrange sinful snacks in servingware placed on cake stands painted black. Tuck in creepies and crawlies-spiders, skulls, mice, and crows purchased from WalMart or any craft store.

For the fiendishly fun floral display, spray-paint spindly spider mums black and pop them in a slim vase, then nestle inside a larger vase lined with black-and-white patterned paper. Use 2 large black candle holders as a display for smaller pumpkins.

Let the feasts begin!!
