Mothers Day Crafts for Kids

"Scented Drawer Liners"

Great ideas for young ones, simple crafts that make wonderful gifts for Mom. Mothers day crafts for kids includes scented drawer liners and scented stationery. Turn store bought items into unique personalized gifts.

"Make a gift that is homemade from the heart!!

Supplies You Need:

Giftwrap
Scented body spray
Rubberband
Plastic bag
Satin ribbon

Directions:

1. Cut wrapping paper into six, 24"x18" sheets
2. Spray the unprinted side of each sheet with the body spray and allow to dry for 30 minutes
3. Roll sheets together tightly and secure with a rubberband
4. Slide the roll into a plastic bag, tie closed and allow to sit overnight
5. Remove giftwrap from plastic bag and remove the rubberband and replace with a satin ribbon




"Scented Stationery"

Supplies You Need:

Box of stationery
Flavored essential oil, favorite scent (found at any arts and crafts store)
Piece of corrugated cardboard
Piece of cotton fabric

Directions:

1. Remove the stationery from the box
2. Cut the cardboard to fit the bottom of the box
3. Pour 10 drops of the essential oil on the ridged side of the cardboard
4. Wrap the cardboard in the cotton fabric
5. Place wrapped cardboard in the bottom of the box
6. Replace the stationery in the box and close
7. Keep the box closed for one week before giving
