Snowman Crafts
Easy Snowman Prints
The snow is falling and now it's time to make snowman crafts. Awesome snowman prints that can be used to make ornaments or holiday cards.
These easy prints can be made in minutes, and even our preschooler's can join in the fun!! A creative idea using furniture pads.
Supplies You Need:
Adhesive backed furniture pads (3 different sizes)
Blank cards
Sturdy piece of cardboard
Paint brush
Paints (white, black, orange)
Black marker
Double-sided tape
Directions:
1. To reduce waste, first stamp your snowmen on peices of card stock, then attach only the best to the blank cards
2. For the snowman's body, use three different diameters of furniture pads
3. Arrange them on the sturdy cardboard (snowman figure)
4. Use a paintbrush to coat the pads with white paint, then stamp your snowmen onto the card stock and let dry
5. Cut out a hat and carrot shape from another felt pad and adhere them to small pieces of cardboard
6. Using the black paint for the hat and the orange paint for the carrot, stamp hats and noses on the snowmen
7. Add eyes, mouths, buttons, and arms with a black marker
8. Attach your snowmen prints to blank cards using double-sided tape
Let your child's creative side come out, using different colors of paper. Your friends and family will love these home-made cards!!
