Toddler Crafts

Turn the Terrible Twos into the Terrific Twos with toddler crafts. Let's get these little hands busy being creative. Whether it's making a gift for a grandparent, or just refrigerator decor, "busy" hands are "happy" hands!

In the process, your toddler will begin to learn the value of giving something homemade, as well as the value in actually making something for someone you love. As you all know, whenever you are making a gift for a loved one, that person is in your heart and mind every minute until the gift is complete, and far beyond. Giving Hearts are Happy Hearts!

Tip: Little ones love to paint with water-colors, but sometimes things get a bit messy. Use cups that have a lid with a straw hole in them. Fill the cup with the paint and the child can dip their paintbrush through the hole to get paint. No more spills!!

Tip: A fantastic idea to keep those "little hands" busy while we are in the kitchen--make child their own cupboard. Print up their name on a piece of paper and say "name's" Cupboard, then laminate and tape to "their" cupboard. Put plastic utensils, healthy snacks, their cups and dishes. This will keep them entertained while we cook. And, it makes them feel "special!"
