Valentine Crafts for Kids

"Heart-to-Heart Garland"

These Valentine crafts for kids are simple, fun and inexpensive to make. Creative hearts can be used to make your own valentine cards or to string on a garland to brighten up any room. Be creative using fabric colors and designs of your choice.

Supplies You Need:

Fusible interfacing

Fabrics

Iron

Standard or decorative-edge scissors

Hole punch

Colored string or twine

Directions:

1. With a grown-ups help, use the iron to fuse the interfacing to the fabric

2. Cuts hearts in all different sizes from the fabric you chose

3. Fuse small hearts onto the larger ones (make 14 hearts in different sizes, or you can make the garland as long as you like)

4. Use the hole punch to make 2 holes on opposite sides, near the top of each heart

5. Thread the string or twine through the holes

6. Hang on a wall, in a window, or anywhere you want to enjoy some Valentine cheer!!
